Usually in production environments, external factors such as temperature differences have a negative impact on the leak detection of oil-tight leak detectors. How to use helium leak testing equipment to ensure good test results?

1. In order to properly use the oil filter test equipment, it is necessary to pre-pump the extracted sample before filling the leak detector oil body. If the empty oil in the specimen is not pumped before filling, it will be squeezed to the end of the geometric space and the oil body in the helium oil leak detector will not be able to enter this part, so the potential leak detector will only release the empty oil and the leak detector will not be able to detect these leak detectors.

2. The leak holes in oil filter test equipment devices are usually small or very narrow. If the leak hole is placed in the tank before the oil body leak detection, these leak holes or thin tubes will be blocked or filled with water, thus affecting the leak detection results.

3. Before filling the leaking oil body, a quick test for large leaks is required. A simple test for a large leak is to draw off the sample over a short period of time and observe the draw-off pressure. If the sample can maintain the drain pressure, there is no large leak hole and the leak detector oil body can be filled.

4. If the oil-tight leak detector is not tested at high pressure during operation, the helium oil leak detector will not be able to detect some leak holes. Therefore, using a higher test pressure during leak detection can effectively detect leak holes that will not appear in actual operation.

5. The leak detection rate in the leak detection test is closely related to the background concentration of the oil body of the leak detector. The higher the background concentration, the greater the fluctuation. If the leak detector oil body is discharged to the leak detection area after the leak detection test, the background concentration will continue to increase throughout the working day. Also, when filling or draining the oil, ensure that no oil body is leaking and periodically check the fittings for leaks.

6. If a leaking body of oil leaks helium and hydrogen, it will fly to the top of the leak test area like a ball of oil and gradually float in the leak test area. Therefore, adequate ventilation should be provided for the leak test area.

Technical characteristics of oil filter test equipment:

Filter paper:Oil filter paper has higher requirements than air filter paper, mainly because the temperature of oil varies from 0 to 300 degrees, and the concentration of oil also changes during the drastic temperature change, which affects the filtering flow of oil. The filter paper of high quality oil filter should be able to filter impurities under the drastic temperature change, while ensuring sufficient flow rate.

Rubber seal:The oil filter seal is made of special rubber to ensure 100% no oil leakage.

Anti-reflux valve:Only high quality oil filter. It prevents the oil filter from drying out when the engine is turned off; when the engine is re-ignited, it immediately generates pressure and provides oil to lubricate the engine.

Relief valve:Only high quality oil filter. When the outside temperature drops to a certain value or when the oil filter exceeds its normal life limit, the safety valve opens under special pressure, allowing unfiltered oil to flow directly into the engine. Even so, impurities in the oil can still enter the engine together, but this damage is much less than the damage caused by no oil in the engine. So in an emergency, the relief valve is the key to protecting the engine.
